Photoshop Boot Camp

This is a basic, primer course for novice and intermediate users of Adobe Photoshop. This one day boot camp covers some of the more mission critical aspects of the software which many (even seasoned) practitioners often overlook. Amidst the plethora of confusing updates to the sprawling feature set the software has increasingly offered in recent years - we will guide you through the quagmire and direct you to some of the more powerful features in the software. Use it - don't let it use you! By the end of the day, you'll have your head wrapped around color profiling, doing high quality color corrections, digital color space, selective editing with masks, layers and channels, The instructor for this course is JW Dewdney, Photoshop user since 1986. A photographer with 25 years of experience and nearly 20 years career experience, he taught intermediate and advanced photoshop at the Mac Learning Center in New York City in the 1990s and has been using the software as an artistic, forensic and visualization tool for the the last fifteen years.
